Join Davidson Co Parks and Rec along with the Living History Assoc of Rowan County as we host the 2nd annual anniversary of the Battle of Yadkin River Bridge. This event commemorates one of the final battles of the Civil War in the East taking place just days after Lee's surrender on the actual site of Fort York!! Displays of Civil War weapons and artillery, uniforms and equipment of both armies. This event is also a memorial event held in honor of LHARC honorary CSgt Michael Hawkins, long time historian, reenactor, and a true son of the south.
