You must either possess a current Arizona Unarmed Security Guard Card, or have proof of submission for your Arizona Unarmed Guard Card within 90 days after recently taking an Arizona Unarmed Guard class.
Welcome to the Arizona Armed Security Guard Training! Get ready to learn about becoming a certified armed guard in a fun and interactive setting. Join us for two days filled with valuable information and hands-on training. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process and answer any questions.
Day one:
Classroom only, bring - Lunch, Snacks and Refreshments (Water / Soda)
Day two:
Range, bring - Lunch, Snacks and Refreshments (Water / Soda)
Firearm, 9mm or better (.40, .45 etc.)
Level 2 Duty Holster or better
2 extra Magazines/mag belt carrier
100 rounds of ammo
Eye and Ear Protection
Arizona law requires a person to obtain a 70% (175) shooting accuracy to qualify for an Armed Guard Card.
However, Lionheart Staff taking the course must qualify with a 90% (225) as we have always held our armed security guards to an even higher standard. In addition, all fired hits must remain on the target silhouette even if they miss the target zone.
