About this Event
Join the Dalhousie Women in Sport Society for a public film screening of the documentary Athlete A. The screening will be followed by a short debriefing session with Dr. Barb Hamilton-Hinch and resource sharing with the HRES Education Advisor.
Snacks, captioning and peer support will be provided.
Film Description
This documentary focuses on the gymnasts who survived USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar's abuse and the reporters who exposed USAG's toxic culture.

About the Space
The screening will be held in the Collaborative Health Education Building (room C140) at 5793 University Avenue in Halifax. You can access this space using the nearby bus routes of #1 and #90. You can access the building via:
1. University Avenue entrance using the staircase
2. Summer Street entrance using the staircase or ramp
The room is located on the first floor of the building where there is access to washrooms, fountains and vending machines.
