🥓🏃♀️ 15th Annual Achin’ for the Bacon 5K River Run 🏃♂️🥞Join us on Saturday, June 27 for one of Unicoi County’s most beloved traditions—the Achin’ for the Bacon 5K! Now in its 15th year, this race continues to bring our community together for a fun, high-energy morning you won’t want to miss.
After last year’s transition to a new route, we’re excited to once again offer that same flat and fast course that’s perfect for runners chasing a PR and walkers just out to enjoy the day. The heart of this event remains the same—community, fun, and of course… BACON! 🥓
Whether you're a seasoned runner or just coming for the pancakes, all ages and skill levels are welcome!
🐾 Got a four-legged running buddy? Bring them along! We love seeing our furry friends hit the course—just be sure they’re leash-ready and bacon-motivated.
