About this Event
Masterplan Presentation, Monday, April 27, 6:00 - 7:00 PM
In Partnership with Dallas Architecture Forum
Model On Display at the AD EX April 27 – June 20
UTA architecture students present a visionary masterplan showing how preservation and progress can coexist. Their proposal keeps I.M. Pei’s iconic City Hall as a centerpiece while creating a vibrant, walkable downtown.
The project organizes Downtown Dallas into three interconnected districts—Entertainment, Civic & Cultural, and Residential & Education—featuring a new arena, a green park bridging I-30, high-street retail, educational facilities, and 20% affordable housing. The plan fosters a 24-hour, pedestrian-centered urban core that balances civic identity, sustainability, and economic growth.
Join us for a presentation to hear directly from the students and faculty about their research, design proposals, and ideas for shaping the future of Dallas.
