[𝐏𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐝𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐞 𝐳𝐚 𝐯𝐬𝐨 𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐳̌𝐢𝐧𝐨]
Današnja podoba Ljubljanskega gradu bi bila zagotovo povsem drugačna, če ga ne bi 16. maja 1905 od državnih oblasti za 60.200 kron odkupil takratni župan Ivan Hribar in ga tako rešil pred nadaljnjim propadanjem. S tem je grad prešel v last mesta Ljubljane, vizionarski mož pa je imel z njim velike načrte, ki so se dobro stoletje po njegovem odkupu tudi uresničili: grad je postal pomembno kulturno središče slovenske prestolnice. V počastitev jubileja pripravljamo Grajske dneve, ki se letos odvijajo že petnajstič.
V sklopu Grajskih dni želimo obiskovalcem ponuditi pestro doživetje zgodovine, zato bomo v soboto oživili mite in legende o zmajih, v nedeljo pa obujamo srednjeveške običaje, ki obiskovalcem omogočajo, da doživijo bogato kulturno dediščino.

V 𝐬𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐨, 𝟏𝟔. 𝟓. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, vas vabimo na nepozaben dan, posvečen zmajem. Poleg številnih uličnih predstav, žonglerskih nastopov in ognjenih točk, ki se bodo odvijale na Grajskem dvorišču, bo program obogaten z raznovrstnimi gibalnimi delavnicami, pripovedovanjem zmajskih zgodb, vodstvi na temo zmajev in animacijami, ki bodo poskrbele za zabavo in aktivna doživetja vseh generacij.

Na ta dan se bosta Ljubljanski grad in njegova okolica spremenila v pravo srednjeveško prizorišče. Poleg pestrega nabora viteških dvobojev, predstav in srednjeveškega tabora v Grajskem parku bo še posebej velik pečat dnevu nedvomno vtisnil nastop sokolarjev na Grajskem dvorišču. Vsi radovedni, lačni in željni viteškega in plemiškega življenja – vljudno vabljeni!

The appearance of the Ljubljana Castle today would be completely different if it had not been purchased from the state authorities on 16 May 1905 for 60,200 crowns by the then mayor Ivan Hribar, thus saving it from further decay. The visionary mayor had ambitious plans for the castle once it became the property of the City of Ljubljana. These plans were realised more than a century later, when the castle became an important cultural centre of the Slovenian capital. In honour of this anniversary, we organise the annual Castle Days, which are taking place for the fifteenth time this year.
As part of the Castle Days, we offer visitors a diverse experience of history. On Saturday, we will revive myths and legends about dragons, and on Sunday we will revitalise medieval customs, allowing visitors to experience a rich cultural heritage.

On 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟔 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, we invite you to an unforgettable day dedicated to dragons. In addition to the numerous street performances, juggling acts and fire shows in the Castle Courtyard, the programme will be enriched with various movement workshops, dragon storytelling and guided tours on the theme of dragons, as well as activities that promise fun and active experiences for all generations.

𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲
On 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟕 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the Open Day, visitors will have an opportunity to explore every corner of the castle and view the permanent and temporary exhibitions free of charge. On this day, the Ljubljana Castle and its surroundings will be transformed into a genuine medieval scene. In addition to a diverse range of knightly duels, performances and a Medieval Camp in the Castle Park, the day will undoubtedly be marked by a Live Chess performance and a display by falconers in the Castle Courtyard. Everyone who is curious, hungry and eager for the life of knights and nobles is warmly invited!
