New Format – Trialing in March
Our Social Tournaments at Maroubra are spread across 2 days of competition, each tailored to ensure everyone has a great experience:
Day 1 – Women’s and Men’s Tournament (Saturday)
- Who should join?: Targeted at beginner and lower-level players (G-D Squad), ideal for those looking to enjoy some friendly competition.
- Teams: Maximum of 10 teams per gender (2 Pools of 5 Teams).
- Group Stage: Teams compete in round-robin pool matches
- Single Elimination Phase: After the group stage, teams will be placed in a play off bracket based on their performance
Day 2 – Mixed Tournament (Sunday)
- Who should join?: We will offer two divisions:
- Division 1: Open Division for players higher than C level
- Division 2: Targeted at lower-level players (F-D Squad)
- Teams: Maximum of 25 teams (10 Division 1 and 15 Division 2).
- Group Stage: Teams compete in round-robin pool matches
- Single Elimination Phase: After the group stage, teams will be placed in a play off bracket based on their performance
Registration Details
- Entry Fee: $70per team
- Registration: opens Tuesdays 2 weeks in advance of a tournament
- Players are welcome to sign up for both days
