📣 Join us at the 14th European Remembrance Symposium
📆 We are pleased to announce the 14th European Remembrance Symposium, taking place 27–29 May 2026 at the Art Nouveau Moyzes Hall, Faculty of Arts, Comenius University, Bratislava.
This year, we partner with the Nation's Memory Institute of Slovakia (Ústav pamäti národa) to examine ‘Memory Wars: Facts, Disinformation, and the Politics of Remembrance’.
💬 As collective memory becomes increasingly central to contemporary power struggles and political conflicts, we will explore how memory is weaponised in the context of war, how historical narratives are contested across Europe, and whether our continent can achieve unity in the face of diverse experiences and contemporary challenges.

🎤 Turbo Presentations: We invite participants to showcase their projects or organisations in dynamic 120-second presentations on 27 May, 18:00–19:00. Send your proposal to by the end of April 2026. Remote presentations are also welcome.

📣 Pozývame vás na 14. ročník European Remembrance Symposium
📆 V dňoch 27. – 29. mája 2026 sa v secesnej Moyzesovej sieni Filozofickej fakulty Univerzity Komenského v Bratislave uskutoční 14. ročník European Remembrance Symposium.
Podujatie vzniká v spolupráci s Ústavom pamäti národa a nesie tému „Memory Wars: Facts, Disinformation, and the Politics of Remembrance“.
💬 V čase, keď sa kolektívna pamäť stáva významným nástrojom súčasných mocenských a politických konfliktov, sa budeme venovať otázkam jej zneužívania v kontexte vojny, sporom o historické naratívy v Európe a možnostiam hľadania spoločného porozumenia napriek rozdielnym skúsenostiam.

Prihláste sa s prezentáciou svojho projektu alebo organizácie v dynamickom 120-sekundovom formáte, ktorý sa uskutoční 27. mája od 18.00 do 19.00 hod.
Návrhy je možné zasielať do konca apríla 2026. Možná je aj účasť formou vopred nahranej prezentácie.
