Join Friends of Inwood Hill Park and Riverkeeper for TWO cleanups on Saturday, May 4, for the 13th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep, a day of service for the Hudson River and its tributaries. This is a rain or shine event.________________________________________________________________________
SCHEDULE (2 CLEANUPS at 2 LOCATIONS):
11AM to 1:30PM at Inwood Canoe Club - 360 Dyckman Street
Volunteers will meet at Inwood Canoe Club, 360 Dyckman St, New York, NY 10034. Street parking available, but arrive early as it can be competitve.
2PM to 5PM at Northern Inwood Hill - West 218th St & Indian Rd
Volunteers will meet just inside the park entrance at the corner of Indian Rd and 218th.

We recommend that all Sweep volunteers bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer.
This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.

Over the last 12 years, Sweep leaders have completed 1,199 service projects, bringing together thousands of volunteers from NYC to the Adirondacks to clean up 355 tons of debris, and plant or maintain 7,130 native plants.
