Little Steps, Big Moves - Creative Movement Dance Class

Age: 3-6

Little Steps, Big Moves, is a creative movement dance program. The program is 8 Weeks (8 Saturdays) long. During this time, your little one will learn beginner dance techniques through imaginary and creative play. This program will allow your little one to develope social skills in a structured play enviorment.

About The Teacher:

The class will be instructed by Olivia Vasquez. Ms. Olivia is a Bronx native, who is classicly trained in a variety of dance disaplines and has been proffesionally teaching dance to young children since the age of 14. Ms. Olivia has been trained by many prestegious dance studios such as, The Bronx Dance Theater, The Ailey School (Alvin Ailey) and Dance Theatre of Harlem to name a few. Ms. Olivia is a homeschooling mother to 4 children and loves to teach dance.

What You Need:

The class is 30 minutes, in order to cater to the little ones shorter attention spans.

• Make sure the child has eaten at least 25 minutes before class. Bring water.
• Make sure child has used the restroom before class starts. (They will be able to use it during class, but is helps with less distraction.)
• Be sure to have child's hair pulled away from face. (a secure bun or cornrows is prefered. NO Beads)
• Light pink or sand colored ballet shoes for girls. Black ballet shoes for boys.
• Girl's Dress Code - Plain black t-shirt cut leotard, light pink tights, plain black ballet wrap skirt (if you would like a skirt). *For an additional $10, these 3 items (girl's uniform) can be provided.
• Boy's Dress Code - Plain white t-shirt and plain black shorts.

1 snack will be privided at the end of each class to each participant.
