Join us for the 13th Annual Pontiac Cove 5K and Fun Run/Walk on Memorial Weekend! Calling all walkers, runners, crawlers, joggers, stroller pushers, dog walkers, EVERYONE! This event is for you. You can run or walk the 5K/3.1 miles. There is also a 1-mile loop if you choose not to do the full 5K route. There are options for everyone. Refreshments will be provided for all participants, and prizes and awards for the winners will be handed out after the race. We’ll be serving ice cream cones for the kids (and adults) and Lake Bums Brew Co. beer for participants of age! Who doesn't love ice cream and beer for breakfast? All pre-registered entrants will receive a T-shirt, and kids 12 and under will receive a medal and a goodie bag. Proceeds go to the Pontiac Firework Fund. The event begins at 8 a.m. Cost to enter is $25 for adults/$20 for kids 12 and under. Registrations are accepted until the morning of the race, but late entrants might not receive a shirt.
