About this Event
Keep the Cedar River Watershed clean by picking up trash on our 13th Annual Clean Up. Attendees will meet at Gladwin City Park at 10 AM where we will start introductions, discuss the schedule, and hand out materials for the day. Plan to be on the water for about 3 hours and paddling about 4.5 miles of river. We will then eat lunch back at Gladwin City Park following the cleanup, provided by Gladwin Conservation District and Little Forks Conservancy.
What to Bring
Please dress for being on the water for about 3 hours. Waterproof shoes and clothing are ideal. Sunscreen and water are suggested, but will also be provided for attendees.
Kayak Rentals and Drop-off
We have 20 kayaks available to use at no cost. If you will be bringing your own watercraft, please indicate that with your ticket selection. If you will be bringing your own, you will need to drop it off at 1105 Chappel Dam Rd Gladwin, MI 48624 prior to 10 AM and then go to Gladwin City Park to take the shuttle.
