Cacao ceremonies have been around for thousands of years, dating back to the Mayan and Aztec traditions of Central and South America, used for spiritual, medicinal and ceremonial purposes for inner awakening and creative guidance. Pure cacao is used as a medicine to open the heart and for people to safely experience awakening, revelation and inner healing. Cacao is used in a sacred medicinal ritual, where intentions are set and, once consumed, euphoric states are unlocked, negative emotions are released and we can connect with ourselves and the loving energy of our body.
We work with the energy of the day based on the Mayan calendar. This day is 13 Tzikin - the eagle.
Today presents one of the most powerful days in the Tzolkin for piercing perception into the depths of the soul, for getting clarity on long-sitting issues you have not been able to reolve, and seeing far into the long horizon of your life path.
This Ceremony is a high-energetic and transformational shamanic healing work. Every day in the Mayan Calendar we have the great opportunity to shift and transform issues, patterns and heavy energies within us and uplift our spirit and soul to become the conscious Beings that we are.

We meet at 4:45 pm at Cafe Schatulle and walk to the ceremonial place together. Please bring your own yoga mat and/or blanket, some flowers and your own cup!

***Annette Assmy is a filmmaker, a creative soul, a master of ceremonies and is walking the path of a guardian of the earth. It is her heart's desire to bring soul-nurturing shamanic wisdom to the western world. She learned from the Society of the Four Winds, by Dr. Alberto Villoldo and is certified in Luminous Healing and Energy Medicine. Since November 2014 she is learning directly from the Peruvian shamans, called Paqos at the Serena Anchanchu School. She is initiated by them as Pampa Mesayok; Guardian of the earth.
Since April 2020 she graduated in the Bard Degree in the Celtic Tradition.
Since 2012 she is giving Energetic Healing sessions and doing group seminars (The Rite of the Womb and Munay-Ki etc.).
She is also a recent Cacao Guardian through Cacao Mama and has completed a Cacao Facilitator Training with Lavalove Cacao with Izaias S. Mendoza. In addition, she is a Robert Moss certified Dream Teacher Trainer.
