Virginia Down Syndrome Association invites general and special educators, parents, self-advocates with ID/DD, and other professionals from Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region to discover how to better educate children and young adults with disabilities. We are proud to have self-advocate David Egan as our keynote speaker (https://davideganadvocacy.com/). Other presenters include the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS), All Needs Planning, Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center (PEATC), Bright Achievements ABA, National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), Garro Behavior Consulting, and more!
The Education & Transition Conference will also have 30+ exhibitors to provide additional resources and networking opportunities.
Attendees will receive a certificate. This conference is eligible for 7 hours of CEUs.
Early bird registration is $55 until February 15th.
