Join us at at the Bayfront Maritime Center for a friendly beer-tasting competition while raising funds for educational programming on Erie’s waterfront.
The 12th Annual Ales for Sails is scheduled for Friday February 7th, 2025 from 6-9 PM. Get your tickets now before they sell out!
Local brewers joining us in the boatshop include: Erie Ale Works(2023 & 2024 winner), The Brewerie, Lavery Brewing, Nostrovia Brewing, Black Monk Brewery, Erie Brewing, Arundel Cellars & Brewing, Twisted Elk Brewery, Five & 20 Spirits and Brewing, and John Russell Brewing.
Ticket price includes:
- Unlimited* craft beer samples from 10 local breweries
- Light hors d'oeuvres & snacks, locally catered by Cali's
- Commemorative, keepsake tasting glass
- Live music, brought to you by DJ Mike & Millennium Sound
- Fun photo booth with props and costumes
- A basket raffle including gifts, services, and prizes from local organizations (cash or card) - winners announced 30 min prior to the end of event
- Make your way to the boatshop to check out the 1812 Schooner Porcupine, as well as other projects created by local youth, while having a lot of fun and supporting a great cause.
Event hours: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
The Bayfront Maritime Center's mission is to design and implement engaging, hands-on, maritime-themed educational, vocational and recreational opportunities for the local youth and adult community in a universally accessible waterfront facility.

$7,500- Presenting Sponsor - Brewmaster Level: up to 10 Event Tickets with special recognition opportunitites.
$5000- Keg Level: up to 8 Tickets
$2000- Growler Level: up to 6 Event Tickets
$1000- Stein Level: up to 4 Event Tickets
$500- Pint Level: up to 2 Event Tickets
* Craft beer samples unlimited while supplies last
* * The Pennsylvania Liquor Code makes it illegal for a licensee, employee or any other person to serve or sell alcoholic beverages to visibly intoxicated persons. All guests will have to show ID at the door and wear the guest wristband.
Shirts are available for a 17% discount when you pre-order during ticket checkout!
A limited quantity of shirts, Paddler BMC hats, and other merch will be available at the event.
