Why is it important to have culturally conscious conversations, and how does doing so help us personally, and professionally? Brandon Wiley, the CEO of Opened Eyes, an Erie-based nonprofit with a mission to create cultural unity and awareness, and develop positive self-identification, will review the organization's founding, history, and impact by promoting cross-cultural understanding and acceptance. He will also share evidence-based approaches, real-world examples, and actionable techniques to empower attendees to integrate cultural awareness into their daily lives and professional practices.
