Participants should read the book BEFORE attending the book club discussion. Snacks will be provided, and we’ll enjoy a time of discussion along with a fun activity or craft.
This book is recommended for 2nd–7th grade, depending on your child’s interests and reading level. It is also a great read-aloud option for younger readers, but children should have comprehension of the story in order to participate in the discussion.

About the Book:
"Best Family Ever" is a faith-based, family-centered story that explores themes such as:
- Sibling relationships
- Moving and life changes
- Trusting God and family values
The story follows the Baxter family as they walk through a big life change. Told from the perspective of the Baxter children, readers see how each sibling processes fear, excitement, and uncertainty in their own way.
Through everyday moments and challenges, kids learn what it looks like to trust God, lean on family, and choose love and kindness. The story gently weaves in themes of faith, prayer, forgiveness, and the importance of staying connected as a family.
This book helps kids understand that even in seasons of change, God is with them, and their family can be a place of strength, support, and belonging.
