Acclaimed literary translator Daniel Hahn is known for his translations from Portuguese, Spanish and French and his work with the Translators Association, the Society of Authors and English PEN. In this beginner-friendly masterclass, he'll reveal how a piece of fiction moves between languages in the hands of a translator. There'll be discussion of the choices, challenges, quirks and joys that translators encounter when working on a text.
