Join the 11th annual PPI Summer School to be immersed in the rich and vibrant learning community of people committed to Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) partnerships in health and social care researchers.
Hear inspiring keynotes from international and national leaders in PPI.
Participate in interactive workshops designed to facilitate meaningful networking, share tailored resources, co-construct knowledge and strengthen PPI in research skills.
Our aim is to support diverse people including researchers, community and patient organisations, students, PPI contributors, funders, health service providers & policy makers to come together for learning, discussion, networking and relationship building.
This years dynamic keynote speakers include:
- Dr. Vivian Ramsden and Brenda Arenas "The Evolution of Patient Partners on Research Teams to Members of Primary-Care Team"
- Knowledge Transfer Awards: Mentoring for Diversity in PPI
Experienced PPI researchers and PPI collaborators will offer a variety of interactive workshops pitched to people with different levels of experience. Workshop numbers are limited so please ensure to book early!

An essential part of the PPI summer school is meeting new people so we hope you will join the friendly crew for an early evening social barbeque at UL's Terrace bar-restaurant. All dietary requirements will be catered for, just let us know on your registration from.
A limited number of free places and support for accommodation/travel are available to facilitate the participation of people who do not have access to other sources of funding.
