The 11th Annual Larry Penn Tribute Concert will be held on Sunday December 7th from 6-9pm at Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. 224 W Bruce St Milwaukee WI 54204 (Walkers Point)
Tickets are $10 in advance / $12 at the door
Join us for our 11th annual celebration to honor the music, life and legacy of late Larry Penn, Wisconsin's famed songwriter and folksinger known for his tunes: I'm A Little Cookie, On My Grandma's Patchwork Quilt and dozens of other songs about working folk, trucking trains, the great lakes, children, love and social justice. (Larry passed on October 7, 2014)
This year’s lineup includes: Guy Kaplan, Mark Dvorak, Craig and Patty, Tom & Barb Webber and as MC, Lil Rev. Each act will each perform 30 minutes, covering Larry Penn songs, remembrances, poetry, and songs in the spirit of Larry Penn with a grand finale at the end where all performers gather on stage to singing “I’m A Little Cookie” and a few other Penn favorites.
