The 10th SIMM-posium will take place at Bozar, the Brussels-based cultural center. This international conference is organized by the Academic Chair Jonet/CESAMM of Ghent University and HOGENT, in collaboration with the SIMM network.
The conference will feature research presentations and thematic panel discussions, critically examining the social impact of participatory music-making across diverse cultural and geographical contexts.
Keynote: Professor Lee Higgins, Director of the International Centre for Community Music at York St John University.
Call for Presentations
We invite submissions of research presentations, particularly on (but not limited to) the following themes:
