Get ready for a casual, laughter-filled evening featuring gift card grabs, silent and live auctions, clean comedy, and plenty of fun — all to support Camp Soroptimist and S’MORE!THE EVENT:
Join us for an unforgettable night of comedy with not one, but two hilarious comics!
Opening Act — JODY FULLER
A father, comic, speaker, writer, and soldier with three tours in Iraq — and a lifelong stutterer — Jody brings humor, heart, and Southern charm to every stage. Named one of “15 Southern Stand-Up Comedians Who Will Make You Laugh ’Til You Cry” by It’s a Southern Thing, and recognized by GI Jobs Magazine as one of “15 Veterans Taking the Comedy World by Storm.”
Headliner — JOE DEVITO
With razor-sharp wit and spot-on timing, Joe DeVito is a crowd favorite from New York City to Los Angeles. A regular on FOX’s Gutfeld!, Joe has also appeared on The Late Late Show, Comics Unleashed, Comedy Central, AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live, and was a semifinalist on Last Comic Standing. His Dry Bar Comedy special has earned over 10 million views — proof he knows how to keep audiences rolling with laughter (and maybe raiding the green room snacks).
Arrive early!
Enjoy live music by Diversity Band’s Low Compatibility during the social hour beginning at 6:30 p.m.
THE CAUSE:
Soroptimist International of Joplin’s largest service project is Camp Soroptimist, a week-long summer camp for foster children ages 8–14. For over 40 years, members have organized the camp in partnership with the Department of Social Services. Many campers say it’s the highlight of their summer and can’t wait to return!
But that’s not all—there’s S’MORE!
Soroptimist International of Joplin also helps local women and girls gain the education and training they need for economic empowerment through two key programs:
Live Your Dream Awards – Education grants for women who are the primary financial support for their families. Awards can be used for tuition, books, childcare, transportation, and other expenses that support their educational goals.
Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls – A mentorship program that equips girls with the tools, confidence, and guidance to reach their education and career dreams—helping them break cycles of poverty, violence, and abuse.
Tickets on sale soon! Spend the evening with us and laugh for a good cause! The event is for ages 18+ only. For more information, please call 417.825.9624.
