❣️ It's FREE! 🎺 There's a BRASS BAND! 🫧 And there's FREE BUBBLE WANDS!
Start your day the sparkly way: with music, movement, and a sky full of bubbles.
🎉 WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll gather at 11:30 AM at the corner of W 36th St. + Chestnut Ave. and parade through the festival together behind a fabulous brass band. Think joyful street party energy with a little New Orleans Mardi Gras flair.
📍 We’ll begin at one end of the festival on 36th Stand stroll all the way to Falls Road, filling Hampden with bubbles and delight along the way.
🫧 FREE bubble wands provided for participants.
Bring your own bubble tools too if you’d like! Bust out the big bubbles.
👑 DRESS CODE: DELIGHTFULLY EXTRA
Colorful clothes, costumes, capes, corsets, corsages, cummerbunds, clogs... if it makes you smile, wear it.
🐶 WHO'S WELCOME?
All ages of humans and very good dogs are welcome.
⏰ TIMING
Festival runs 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Bubble Parade runs 11:30 AM to approx. 12:00 PM

Free to join. No sign-up needed. Just show up and bubble.

Stay and enjoy everything the festival has to offer: art, games, food, shopping, music, and neighborhood magic with 150+ local vendors!

🌈 A LITTLE HISTORY
The Bubble Parade began in Hampden in 2015 with Mary England, also known as Merriment Maker. That makes this the 10TH ANNUAL (because we skipped 2020)!!!! Mary creates playful public experiences that help people reconnect with the weird, curious, alive version of themselves that adulthood sometimes buries under errands and emails.
💛 11K ACTS OF MERRIMENT
This parade is also part of Mary’s 11,000 Acts of Merriment Project, spreading joy and good news across the city.
