Can you believe it? We've been holding classes for ten years! It's been a whirlwind journey—we:
- connected nearly 200 instructors to thousands of students
- restored a historic building
- started a beloved cafe
- held hundreds of cribbage tournaments
- helped support the early days of local artists and businesses
and so much more. What a decade!
Of course, it’s been a community effort. Hundreds of pairs of hands helped start Duluth Folk School and continue to make it work. It’s the bonhomie of the tens of thousands of people who pass through our building each year that make this place so wonderful. Thank you!
Together, we’ve done it: ten years of Duluth Folk School. We like to think Duluth is a better place with us in it. And it’s because of all of you.
We're not done, though. Our 10th Anniversary tagline is "There's a Good World to Build." Day-in and day-out, that’s what all of us has been striving for for ten years.
Let's gather and celebrate the goal and the work, and celebrate what we build and where we gather. Hope to see you there!
