Christmas at Merchant City Yoga just wouldn’t be the same without our 108 Sun Salutations challenge – now in its 13th year! It’s a tradition that brings our community together to move, breathe, laugh and raise vital funds for Yogability, the Glasgow charity that offers free yoga to children with special needs and their families and carers.If 108 sounds daunting, don’t worry – this event is definitely about spirit not perfection. You can step instead of jump, use your knees, skip a few rounds, rest whenever you need to – and I’ll be counting you through every single one. The magic lies in joining in, moving together and knowing each sun salutation is helping keep Yogability’s work alive.
🌟 Take part in the studio and celebrate afterwards with a lovingly prepared festive brunch from the Yogability team.
🌟 Join online – gather some pals, flow together at home and toast your efforts with a well-earned Bucks Fizz (no designated driver required!).
We ask everyone taking part to fundraise what they can – aiming for £108 is a great start (just £1 per sun salutation!) – but every penny raised goes straight to Yogability and makes a real difference.

Includes your place at the event on Saturday 20 December 2025, an exclusive 108 Sun Salutations t-shirt (sponsored by Murray Associates https://murrayassociates.co.uk/), and if you’re in the studio, a festive brunch too.
Don’t wait too long to book - spaces in the studio always fill quickly, and if you’re joining online it means I can post your t-shirt in plenty of time!

The schedule for the event is as follows:
9am Doors open
9.15am Welcome (be sure to wear your t-shirt!)
9.30am START 108 Sun Salutations
10.30am Extended relaxation (we’ll have blankets handy in the studio!) // (have a blanket handy!)
11am Celebratory Get Together - stay, chat & raise a glass to YOU. It’s optional so if you’re heading off be sure to say Cheerio!
