101st Annual Midwinter Conference

Join us in Appleton January 16-19, 2025, for the 101st Midwinter Conference. The Midwinter Conference is full of planning, learning, and fun, and has become the can’t miss event of the year.

The weekend begins on Thursday, January 16th with move-in and set-up. The American Legion Foundation Meeting will be held at 5:00 PM.

Friday, January 17th come and witness the work of the Department Committees and Commissions in action as they work on ways to improve the lives of Veterans, their families, and their communities. That evening, enjoy the many hospitality rooms and meet the future leaders of The American Legion.

Saturday, January 18th is the day for ALL LEGIONNAIRES. There will be a full day of learning. Classes include some of your favorites such as Officer Courses, Funeral Honors, Service Officer training, and more. Watch the website for updates as they become available. Where else can you get that much knowledge in one day for only $25??

Join Commander Jim on Saturday night for the . There will be dinner, followed by live entertainment. The theme is dress like your heritage (yes Commander may be in a kilt, but you will only know if you attend).

The American Legion Auxiliary will also be holding a session on Saturday, and the Sons of The American Legion will be holding sessions on Friday and Saturday.

Sunday, January 19th join the Chaplains for a Four Chaplains service, followed by the Department Executive Committee.

You will leave the weekend more knowledgeable of The American Legion and its many Leadership positions and programs and energized to go out and share this information with your fellow veterans and communities.
