About this Event

Welcome to Baby Fortnight a series of workshops across two weeks delivered by various agencies for the whole workforce working with parents/carers and their children in the early years across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

This session is: '1001 Critical Days: Enabling parents to support babies' brain development'

Research tells us the first 1001 days are the most critical for babies’ brain development. This session will explore what the 1001 days are, why they are so important, some of the factors that make this a particularly challenging time for parents and how we can support parents to maximise on this stage of development.

This session will be delivered by Katie Herbert from Leicestershire County Council about their approach and services but is available for everyone.
