100 Years 100 Stories - Celebrating Carroll's & Rollinson Buildings

Two of Fortitude Valley’s most iconic buildings are turning 100 this year, and you’re invited to celebrate with a full day and night of music, food, dance, film, and history.
Carroll’s Corner and the Rollinson Buildings, located on Brunswick Street, were both built in 1925 during a golden era when Fortitude Valley rivaled the Brisbane CBD as the city’s retail heart.
The milestone will be marked by a special Community Day on Saturday 22 November, with activities throughout the precinct celebrating both the history and ongoing evolution of the area.
