I am taking on a 100-hole golf challenge in 24 hours to raise money for prostate cancer research. I will be planning to do this on the 8th May This charity matters to me. I have seen family members and close friends affected by prostate cancer, and I know the impact it has on health, confidence, and everyday life. I want to do something practical that helps fund research and raise awareness around a disease that often goes unnoticed until it is too late.
Here is what the challenge involves:
5.5 rounds of golf
100 holes played back to back
Around 35 miles walked in one day
Prostate cancer exists in every golf club. In the UK, 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed during their lifetime, yet it remains the only major cancer without a national screening programme. Too many men find out late, when treatment options become limited. That needs to change.
By taking part in The Big Golf Race, I am pushing myself physically and mentally to support earlier diagnosis, better treatment, and stronger awareness. Every pound raised goes directly towards research that saves lives.
You can sponsor me for as little as 10p per hole. You can choose as many or as few holes as you like. Even a small amount makes a real difference.
If you can donate, share the page, or start a conversation about prostate cancer, you are helping.
Thank you for supporting me and for helping fight prostate cancer.
