About this Event
From Mathematics to Artificial Intelligence: Understanding the Modern World
This 10-week Modern Mathematics Enrichment Program is designed for high school and early college students who want to move beyond formulas and truly understand how mathematics explains the world around us.
Starting from high-school mathematics, the course introduces the core ideas and thinking methods of modern mathematics, with real-world connections to artificial intelligence, data science, blockchain, and financial modeling. Rather than focusing on repetitive problem-solving, the program emphasizes conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, and academic depthβessential skills for university-level study in STEM, Computer Science, Economics, and Finance.
The program is led by Dr. Yimin Yang, Professor of Mathematics at Duke University, with an instructional team of Peking University mathematics graduates.
