Während der Proteste zum 40. DDR-Jahrestag im Oktober 1989 wird die Berliner Gethsemanekirche ein Zufluchtsort für Demonstrierende und Schauplatz eines Hungerstreiks. Ein Portrait über Aktivismus, Religion und Polizeigewalt kurz vor dem Mauerfall.
In October of 1989, a Berlin Church offered shelter and hosted a hunger strike for those protesting the GDR regime on its 40th anniversary. A portrait of activism, religion and police violence leading up to the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Discounts are available for pupils, students, trainees, pensioners, people with disabilities (accompanying person receives free admission), rescipients of Bürgergeld and those doing voluntary service on presentation of the relevant proof.
Attention: Tickets must be booked online for each screening. Festival passes and day passes alone do not grant access to individual screenings.
