Friends of Madison Park have released this:Join us in remembering Ruth Dalton and her little Prince on the one-year anniversary of their senseless and violent murders. We are asking the community she loved so dearly to come together to honor her legacy of love and kindness.
We will meet on 43rd Avenue East, just south of Madison Street where the city will have installed a plaque in memory of Ruth and Prince near a bench overlooking the Madison Park Beach, she so frequented. Family, friends and city officials will talk about the loss, update on the case and what has been done to make our communities safer.
Join us after the plaque ceremony at McGilvra’s for Yappy Hour. Get a pic of your pup stamped on a pint of Guinness, a Puptail featuring Tito’s or a pint of Prince’s Pilsner from Fremont Brewing. Tito’s Puptails will be available for the month of August, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to PAWS in memory of Ruth and Prince.
