Explore the intersection of fire, color, and texture in this dynamic multimedia art class! Burn & Flow introduces adults to the art of pyrography—the ancient technique of drawing with heat—combined with the fluid beauty of watercolor washes or acrylic pours.Students will begin by learning safe and effective woodburning techniques to create detailed designs, patterns, or imagery on wooden panels. Once the burn work is complete, you’ll enhance your piece with vibrant color using watercolor or the mesmerizing effects of acrylic pour painting. The result: a one-of-a-kind mixed media artwork that blends organic texture, depth, and motion.
No prior experience is needed—just a love for creativity and experimentation. All materials and safety equipment are provided.
