This is more than a workshop — it’s a transformational experience grounded in compassion, mindfulness, and meaningful change.
About this Event

This is an immersive 8-hour classroom workshop that teaches Motivational Interviewing (MI) within a dedicated learning community aimed at the healthcare practitioners who is interested in deepening their patient communication, compassion, and mental health resilience. By means of expert training, live practice examples, guided mindfulness, and peer role-play, the participants will have practical and evidence-based skills that they may put into practice at once.
This course is based on active learning and practical application, which is why, instead of passive learning, the course focuses on active learning and relevance to real-life situations where the participants can apply MI techniques in the supportive environment alongside individuals who represent different health care positions.

How This Training Helps Your Staff Connect More Effectively with Patients?

By sending your team members to this classroom training, your organization equips them with proven communication tools to:

  • Build stronger patient trust and rapport
  • Reduce resistance and defensiveness in difficult conversations
  • Support patient autonomy and motivation for behavior change
  • Create a safe, respectful space where patients feel heard and understood

Participants learn and practice core MI skills—including OARS (Open-ended questions, Affirmations, Reflective listening, and Summarizing)—through realistic scenarios that mirror everyday clinical challenges. Guided mindfulness and self-awareness exercises further enhance emotional presence and empathy in patient interactions.

Why This Training Matters for Your Organization?

In today’s demanding healthcare environments, clinical expertise alone is not enough. Organizations that invest in communication and emotional intelligence see improvements in both patient outcomes and staff well-being.

This classroom training helps your organization:

  • Improve patient engagement, satisfaction, and treatment adherence
  • Reduce staff burnout, compassion fatigue, and emotional disengagement
  • Strengthen team confidence in navigating complex or sensitive conversations
  • Foster a more resilient, human-centered culture of care

By shifting from advice-giving to collaborative, compassionate dialogue, your staff return better equipped to care for patients and themselves.
