Doors 6:30pm - Polka at 7:00pm πͺπ»Having formed to play at the historic Danceland hall in Saskatchewan's polka capital, Manitou Beach, this intrepid group of instrumentalists have found themselves in high demand as (quite likely) Canadaβs youngest prairie polka dream team ever since. Saskatoon's most unique supergroup,1-800-POLKA, is gearing up to take their repertoire north of the border as they venture to the Northwest Territories to grace the hallowed halls of the Snow Castle at Yellowknife's Snowking Festival. Come join them for an informal send-off as they play through an eclectic repertoire of waltzes, two-steps, foxtrots, and of course: the polka! Featuring fiddle, banjo, harmony vocals, dual accordions, and plenty of other shenanigans, this band will remind you why prairie polka will always live forever, and will keep you dancing all night long!
