About this Event
Twoje doświadczenia i opinie pomogą nam rozwijać bardziej dopasowane i dostępne formy wsparcia wellbeingowego oraz działania wspierające zdrowie i jakość życia.
Wywiady odbywają się w przyjaznej, spokojnej i nieoceniającej atmosferze. Każda rozmowa trwa około 30 minut.
W ramach podziękowania za poświęcony czas wszyscy uczestnicy otrzymają voucher o wartości £20.
“Access to Green Spaces for Wellbeing.”
This session is part of a wider project aimed at addressing health inequalities specifically affecting the Polish community. Delivered in partnership with Public Health Birmingham, it forms part of the Deep Engagement Partner (DEP) Programme, which works to reduce health disparities across the city.
Please note: this opportunity is intended for individuals who identify as part of the Polish community, so that we can better understand and respond to community-specific experiences and needs.
We warmly invite you to join a small group discussion to share your experiences and perspectives on parks, nature, and green spaces in Birmingham. We are interested in understanding:
- How people currently use parks and green spaces
- How experiences in the UK compare to experiences in Poland
- The impact of green spaces on mood, stress, relaxation, and overall wellbeing
- Feelings of safety, comfort, and belonging in local parks and outdoor spaces
- How housing, neighbourhoods, weather, and accessibility influence use of green spaces
- The role of green spaces in family and community life
- What changes or improvements could make green spaces more welcoming and accessible
The session will also include a simple mapping activity where participants can identify local green spaces they use, enjoy, or avoid.
Your insights will help shape more culturally relevant and accessible wellbeing support and community planning for the Polish community in Birmingham.
What to expect:
- A confidential group discussion (approx. 1.5 hours)
- A relaxed, respectful, and non-judgemental environment
- Opportunity to share personal experiences and opinions
- Refreshments provided
Thank you:
All participants will receive a £20 voucher as a thank you for their time and contribution.
