About the Teacher
Khenpo Yeshi Rinpoche was born in Nakchu, East Tibet, and began his Dharma training at a young age. He has received extensive teachings, empowerments, and transmissions across the Nyingma, Kagyu, and Geluk traditions, including the Longchen Nyingthig cycle and profound Dzogchen instructions.
He completed a traditional three-year retreat under the guidance of the great Dzogchen master Tulku Urgyen Rinpocheat Asura Cave in Nepal. Khenpo Rinpoche later taught for many years at Ka-Nying Shedrup Ling Monastery and was a founding faculty member of the Rangjung Yeshe Institute, where he helped develop curricula on the five major Buddhist treatises.
Alongside his traditional monastic training, Khenpo Rinpoche serves as faculty at the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently a doctoral candidate, completing a dissertation on Dzogchen philosophy.
