06.09. 2021, at 19.00 Final Gala Concert of the laureates of the Organ Music Composers Competition On the 6th of September 2021, at 19.00, in the legendary Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory will take place the final Gala Concert of the laureates and the award ceremony for the winners of the Organ Music Composers Competition.
These days a competent jury selects the best pieces that will subsequently be performed at the final concert.
A TV broadcast of the concert is planned, as well as a live online broadcast in the format 360°VR VIDEO!
The official prize fund of the Competition for Young Organ Music Composers «New Classics - Organ Taurida» is 600,000 rubles.
The Honorary Jury of the Competition, consisting of renowned organists, composers, and masters of the arts, will present awards and special prizes to the young winners,
Included for a program piece dedicated to the history of Russia is a special prize for displaying images of prominent personalities of Russia of the 18th century in organ music. Prizes are from the Foundation of the composer M. L. Tariverdiev, Capella Taurida, magazine «Organ», the Russian Horn Orchestra, Music Publishing House «Composer», radio «Orpheus» and much more.
A collection of organ works by the finalists and prize-winners of the Competition «New Classics - Organ Taurida» will be released, as well as the DVD “Organ Taurida” with the final gala concert. The new sheet music edition will be donated to all libraries of musical educational institutions in Russia.
In the autumn of 2021, a marathon of organ music by the winners of this project will be held in 25 cities of Russia: Arkhangelsk, Belgorod, Vladivostok, Vladikavkaz, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Krasnoyarsk, Lipetsk, Moscow, Veliky Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, Petrozavodsk, Samara, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Tver, Ufa, Khabarovsk, Yoshkar-Ola, and Yaroslavl.
Chairman of the jury Juan de la Rubia - Principal Organist of the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, a professor at the Catalonia College of Music (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC);
Member of the Royal Catalan Academy of Fine Arts of San Jorge (since 2012, honorary organist of the Capella Taurida of St. Petersburg, concert organist and improviser.
