In this two-day clay handbuilding workshop, you’ll create your own matcha set from start to finish 🍵✨Over the course of two sessions, you’ll build a complete set including a matcha mixing bowl, whisk holder, and matching cup, learning handbuilding techniques to shape and refine each piece. We’ll guide you through construction, adding details, and creating forms that are both functional and beautiful.
You’ll have the option to personalize your set with stamps and textures, adding subtle design elements that make your pieces uniquely yours. Once your work is complete, you’ll choose a glaze for your pieces to be dipped in, giving them a cohesive, finished look.
Each registration also includes a matcha whisk, so you’ll have everything you need to enjoy your set at home.
No experience is needed!
Pre-registration is required — each person in your group must have a ticket.
Class Structure:
- Day One: June 17th, 6-7:30pm
- Day Two: June 18th, 6-7:30pm
*Students must commit to both days of the workshop, make up days will not be permitted*
