02.18 and 02.20 Pipe Fabrication Skills Development

General instruction with layout, torch cutting, fitting, tacking of pipe spools. No specific lessons; just time with an instructor to help you develop whatever skills you are lacking

Student Materials:

Safety glasses. Welding hood, jacket and gloves

Fee: $35 (fee waived for Local 290 members)

Credits: Up to 6 Hours towards Local 290s Continuing Education Benefit

Class Limit: The minimum number of students required for this class to run is 6**

Max 12.

Class Dates:

Tues 0218 5:30 pm-8:30 pm

Thur 02/20 5:30pm-8:30pm

Outcomes: Improved fabrication skills

Students will be able to:

· Torch cut a bevel

· Tack fittings together

· Fit pipe together plumb, level and square
