About this Event
Parkinson’s Advocate Happy Hour
Thursday, February 20, 2025
5:30-8:30pm
Brix Tavern Tualatin
Join us for happy hour and meet and mingle with Parkinson’s advocates in our local community. Learn about efforts to improve the lives of people with Parkinson’s and tell us about your priorities for Oregonians. We’ll also discuss ways to get involved in 2025!
In 2024, the Parkinson’s community succeeded in passing the National Plan to End Parkinson’s Act, now known as the National Parkinson’s Project. The passage of this historic act shows that we can accomplish big wins when we work together. Join us for happy hour and keep the momentum going!
Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
The Brian Grant Foundation is a proud member of the Unified Parkinson’s Advocacy Council (UPAC), created by The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) and comprising representatives from local, state, regional and national Parkinson's organizations. UPAC members gather information on the priorities of people with Parkinson's and their families, helping to ensure the needs of the broader Parkinson’s community are represented in our collective public policy efforts. Learn more about UPAC on the MJFF website.
