The 0161 Manchester Underground Metal Community Promotions have been sitting on this for quite some time. We are excited to be able to finally announce this absolute beast of a lineup.We are bringing you a 3 touring band bill and one hell of an opening act.Kicking the night off we have Manchester alt rock outfit Mines UK. You may of seen these guys playing M2TM Manchester a couple of weeks ago. They were absolutely outstanding and we knew they would fit perfectly on this bill.Up next we have a band that we have not had the privilege of working with before. Vanitas are a djent/prog metal band from Birmingham. Their mix of elements would not sound out of place in a final fantasy style rpg game. We have been wanting to work with these guys for some time so we’re finally glad it’s happening.Next up we have Hertfordshire based melodic death mettalers Earthbound. you may remember these supporting 40K on a previous 0161 lineup at the Bank Top Tavern. Driven by bouncing guitar leads and acrobatic bass lines, their unique approach to songwriting is expertly woven between dark riffs and atmospheric clean passages; carried along by the interplay of soaring vocal harmonies reciprocated by crushing growls.Our headliners need no introduction but I’ll give them one anyways. Manchester melodic mettalers 40,000 Leagues. These guys have nearly 10 years of gigging experience. 40,000 Leagues are a five-piece metal band hailing from Greater Manchester, UK, that combine elements of melodic metal, metalcore and progressive metal into their music.
