Phillyp started dancing with dancehall and it was his primary dance for 4 years before discovering Kizomba music in 2012. He started with Passada as his first dance style. His curiosity soon led him to discover Kizomba, and he was instantly captivated. Although he did dance Salsa as well during that time period Kizomba took his heart.
Driven to deepen his knowledge, he traveled across the U.S. and Europe to train with some of the best in the genre for both Urban Kiz & Kizomba/Semba. Over the years, Phillyp has shared his passion for Urban Kiz and Kizomba by teaching in North America, Central America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Having taught at over 100 events, he brings extensive experience and boundless enthusiasm to every class.
