Following on from last years success of running a Christmas themed grip competition we are returning for a 2nd year! Saturday 13th December 10am sign in ready for 11am start.£10 entry fee.
Spectators £1 each kids free!
Friendly dogs welcome.
Feel free to bring the mince pies!
Will be running 2 categories men’s and women’s open to all levels and abilities.
Trophies for 1st place in each category.
There will be music, hot and cold drinks and snacks with a Christmas spirited atmosphere.
No grip assisting accessories allowed, chalk only!
Events-
1- Christmas pinch- Saxon bar rising bar start weight 40kg men’s 20kg woman’s with 10kg increments after words last man/woman standing wins!
2- Sleigh hold- frame hold options of 2 weights each category any time with heavier weights trumps lighter weight.
Men’s 200kg or 250kg
Woman’s 120kg or 150kg
3- Bauble hold- Dinnie stone hold 2 weights for men same rulings as event 2 max time held wins!
Men’s- 144kg or 188kg.
Woman’s- 109kg
4- Merry Medley- Grip medley 4 implements quickest time to complete all 4 objects wins!
Men’s- 15kg Mirafit plate pinch, 40kg block pinch, 50kg rolling thunder, 60kg dynamite handle.
Woman’s- 5kg plate pinch, 15kg block pinch, 30kg rolling thunder, 40kg dynamite handle.
5- Christmas tree hold- Hercules hold 1 set weight handles can be adjusted to suit individual max time held wins!
