Standedge Tunnel is Britain's longest, deepest and highest canal tunnel, set in stunning surroundings perfect for walks, picnics, nature-spotting and more.There are eggs aplenty here at Standedge Tunnel!
But before you eat them, we have a challenge for you!
First, egg hunters must board our floating nest and travel to the Hen House Café where they will be given instructions on how to find our escaped birds. Some may even have flown into Standedge Tunnel, but don't worry. We have provided a larger floating nest for you to search for them.
Only those worthy enough will be given a special reward! This event is held in partnership with Friends of Standedge & the Huddersfield Canal Society.
Car park by Marsden railway station (HD7 6DQ).
Well behaved dogs, under control & on leads are welcome.
