Learn to canoe trip with the Canadian Canoe Museum on this introductory adventure along the Otonabee River. This unique canoe trip takes place in the Museumβs 36-foot Voyageur Canoe, departing from and returning to our own docks.
This coed, three-day, two-night experience carries campers upstream and downstream on the Trent-Severn Waterway, making it an excellent choice for those just starting their overnight camping journeys. The entire group and their gear travel together in the Voyageur Canoe, with nights spent at a lock station along the river. The focus is on fun, building confidence in the outdoors, and practicing basic paddling techniques.
No portaging is required; the Voyageur Canoe passes through the lock system, including Peterboroughβs famous Lift Lock!
