After the blessing of the bikes at Murrysville Alliance Church (Murrysville, PA) join me on a nice Sunday ride.
Looking to get off the main roads and into some real riding?
We’re doing a 140-mile scenic loop starting and ending in Murrysville — heading east through Saltsburg and Indiana County before carving our way into Ligonier and the Laurel Highlands.
Expect:
• Quiet backroads
• Rolling farmland
• Forest twisties on PA-259 & PA-711
• mid afternoon stop in beautiful Ligonier
• Optional fuel stops along the way
• Zero interstate riding
This ride is all about flowy curves, clean air, and that perfect mid-day town square lunch stop.
Kickstands up: 9:00 AM
Pace: Relaxed but spirited in twisty sections
Total time: 4–6 hours with stops (all day event, including the bike blessing)
