π Boxing Day Anniversary Walk β Our 70th Event!π Meet: The Watermill, 10am
One year ago, on Boxing Day, we held our first ever official CCG event β a simple litter-pick walk along the Hebble Trail.
This year, weβre doing it againβ¦ but with a full year of memories, 69 events behind us, and a much bigger community walking with us.
This Boxing Day marks:
β¨ One full year of CCG events
β¨ Our 70th event in just 12 months
β¨ A return to the historic Hebble Trail, a route steeped in Industrial Revolution heritage
And weβre making it a proper festive community walk:

πΆββοΈ THE ROUTE
Weβll set off from The Watermill at 10am, heading along the Hebble Trail into Halifax β mostly flat, paved, and around 3.5 miles for anyone heading back to the watermill afterwards.
Along the way weβll be stopping at:
πΊ Ring Oβ Bells
πΊ The Three Pigeons
πΊ The Shears Inn, Paris Gates β our final stop

π½οΈ FOOD & DRINK
Paul and the team at the Shears Inn have kindly offered hot food and sandwiches for everyone attending.
Once we finish the walk, the CCG will be staying at the Shears for food, drinks and a proper end-of-year catch-up β and weβd love you to stay with us.
