Some winemakers redefine a generation. Fred Cossard is one of them. Burgundy, especially the whites, was never the same after he dropped his first “lemonade-style” Chardonnay in 2003: fresh, and full of air.Domaine de Chassorney is his treasure – the project that marked the beginning of his solo journey as a winemaker. In 2022, he passed the winery into the hands of the young and talented Aurélien Verdet, already making his mark in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. And so, a new chapter in the legendary domaine’s story began!
