Learn how to design and use air pruning systems for strong, healthy plant roots in propagation and nursery setups.
Weβll cover:
What air pruning is and why it produces stronger root systems
How root systems respond to airflow and container design
Setting up simple, effective propagation systems using pallets
How this improves survival rates and transplant success
π οΈ Working Bee: Pallet Potting Mix Structure + Compost Move
Weβll be building practical nursery infrastructure and finishing compost relocation into the propagation area.
This includes:
Building a pallet structure for potting mix production and storage
Moving remaining compost into pallet bay systems
Setting up functional growing and propagation zones
Creating a working nursery system for ongoing plant production
No experience needed β just come ready to learn, build, and get hands-on.
